Going bananas over this one-ingredient ice cream!

Do you ever have those left over bananas, that are on the verge of going bad and you just don’t know what to do with them. Well I have the recipe for you!

I am all about buying items I can make multiple things with and we all know bananas are the KING KONG of versatility. But reality is they go bad super fast. So my approach is to freeze my bananas. The kids love to eat them frozen too with oatmeal or yogurt. Nice healthy treat!

So lets get into this recipe:

One-ingredient banana ice cream:

Peel 4 bananas, cut them in 2- to 3-inch chunks and place them in a freezer bag in the freezer for at least 6 hours. Remove and blend in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately, or freeze in an airtight container for at least 2 hours. Scoop and serve.

You can add chocolate chips, make a strawberry sundae, or even Reese pieces to this!
