Hello There!
Welcome to the blog spot and thanks for visiting!
Let me first start off by saying this morning I felt like a blob. How did I sleep but still I felt so tired?? Reality set in, my toddler and now moving infant is wearing me out. After coming to a point of defeat, I was able to muster the strength to make my super easy no bake bites.
These bites really gave me the energy I needed! So let me jump right into sharing the recipe.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup ground Flax Seed
1 cup Rolled Oats
1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of fine orange zest
Instructions:
In a large bowl combine oats, flaxseed, chocolate chips, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and orange zest. After combining ingredients, make bite size balls with your hands. Once balls are formed place them on a baking sheet and then in freezer for 1 hour.
These balls are a great snack for work to give you a serge of energy. Storage for these balls are super easy, just freeze until you are ready to enjoy.
My only disclaimer is do not give them to toddlers because it will make them jump on couches imitating a superhero. LOL Lets just say I learned the hard way.
Please feel free to share this recipe and blog with others!
